Yemen: The Silent War

In war-torn Yemen, a child under five dies from preventable causes every ten minutes.

After four years of relentless conflict, over 8 million people are on the brink of starvation, in what the UN is referring to as, ‘the worst famine in the world in 100 years’.

Now, over three-quarters of the population of this blessed land are in need of humanitarian relief just to survive. Half of all health facilities are damaged or unable to function, outbreaks of disease are wiping out whole families and *3 million children under five are already malnourished.*
